Client Objective

Elevate the Hall of Fame Induction into a standalone, globally recognized celebration that fully spotlights the honorees, strengthens the ITHF brand, and expands fan engagement beyond the tournament.

Approach

Decoupled the induction from the Hall of Fame Open and reimagined the weekend with festival-style programming—such as Fame Fest, pro-am matches, concerts, podcasts, and youth events creating a more immersive and celebratory experience.

Result

Working alongside a large team, we guided the International Tennis Hall of Fame to reimagine its Induction Celebration into a weekend-long event honoring Maria Sharapova and Bob and Mike Bryan. The festivities began with the Fit for Fame Dinner, where inductees received custom Brooks Brothers blazers and guests enjoyed heartfelt speeches and surprise performances. Friday introduced the first-ever Fame Fest with fan activations, food trucks, live music, and tennis games, followed by a press conference and the debut of the Celebrity Pro Classic featuring legends like Andy Roddick and Kim Clijsters alongside celebrities including Uzo Aduba and Hannah Berner. The celebration culminated Saturday with the Induction Ceremony, broadcast on Tennis Channel, highlighted by Serena Williams’ surprise tribute to Sharapova, and concluded with a high-energy Fitz and the Tantrums concert on Stadium Court for nearly 2,000 guests.
